Free digital menu: what a small business really needs

A digital menu is a page that brings together products, prices, photos, descriptions and information about the establishment. The customer opens this page on their cell phone using a link or QR Code. For many small businesses, this solves the main problem: making the menu easy to find and simple to update.

Biomi Menu was designed for this scenario. It does not require the implementation of inventory, tax issuance, financial flow or checkout system. The establishment creates the account, organizes the menu and decides whether it only wants to present the products or also receive a list created by the customer.

What's included in a free digital menu

Three ways, without forcing the business to change its routine

Menu only

In this mode, the client only consults. No add button, selection options or cart appear. It is recommended for those who take the order in person, serve at the counter or want to replace a printed menu.

Open list on WhatsApp

The customer chooses items and the system prepares a message. WhatsApp is opened on the customer's device, who remains responsible for sending the message. Biomi Menu does not treat this opening as a confirmed sale.

Simple control panel

The list goes into a separate queue on the establishment's panel. The team consults the command and removes it from the queue when marking it as ready. It's a lean option, without turning the menu into a POS.

When a free solution is enough

It tends to serve businesses well with direct operations, a small or medium catalog and the need for frequent updating. Cafeterias, coffee shops, bars, food trucks, small restaurants, sweet shops and local kitchens usually need to show what they sell, how much it costs and how the customer can order.

If the business needs integrated invoices, detailed input control, payment reconciliation or delivery management, a specialized system may be necessary. Biomi Menu does not promise to replace these tools.

How to get started

  1. Register the establishment.
  2. Create categories that make sense to the customer.
  3. Add products with objective names, prices and short descriptions.
  4. Choose the operating mode.
  5. Check out the preview.
  6. Generate and test the QR Code before printing.
